Karen Idun who delivers this service has more than 8 yrs experience in the fitness industry, is a Scottish Olympic weightlifter and assistant weightlifting club coach, and combines her sport and fitness experience with her extensive knowledge in Human, Sport and Exercise nutrition studied at Masters level.

Body composition analysis with Nutritional consultation
Time 45min
This motivational tool measuring total body fat, total body water, muscle mass, metabolic rate, metabolic age and BMI can be used as an excellent starting point if looking to embark on a weight management / loss programme or as a way to track body composition in relation to sport. The results and its interpretation are explained in detail during consultation time with a detailed comprehensive report to take home with results and interpretation designed to be read in further depth.

Group Body Composition analysis
Time 60min
Group body composition analysis sessions of no more than 4 persons, is an excellent tool for fitness/sporting individuals looking to improve elements of body composition through nutritional and dietary change. Lasting for one hour each person will have the following areas measured total body fat, total body water, muscle mass, metabolic rate, metabolic age and BMI. An individualised report detailing results and interpretation is given to allow persons, along with group interpretation.

Personal Training Sessions
Time 30min, 45min, and 60min
Fitness training sessions are designed to increase metabolic activity allowing the body to work positively at reducing of body fat. Sessions include a combination of indoor cycling, boxing/kickboxing, and strength training to bring about change in body composition which promotes weight loss and management.

 

Sports Specific Programs
for runners

Time 30min
Sports specific strength training sessions should be an integral part of any serious fitness/ athletic individual to give improved overall physical strength required for improved performance, and injury risk reduction. Training sessions lasting 30min can be used to improve confidence and education in strength training technique, or as part of a pre training program.
Xross Training sessions
Time 45min
One to one Spinning/Indoor cycling sessions for runners is an excellent 45min cardiovascular workout designed to enhance cross training activity in runners. Indoor cycling is a non weight bearing challenging workout which can be used to boost fitness or as a form of active recovery.
     
 
Improve Your Stamina Levels
Time 30min
30min sessions that will maintain cardiovascular function, promote weight loss but more importantly deliver dramatic improvements to power, speed, strength and muscle mass (ladies this means accelerated weight loss). Incorporating the right type of strength training program into your running schedule will reduce the risk of injury, maximise your running performance and make you an all rounded better runner able to deliver the results you set yourself.
